Largest gym in the area with a friendly staff, knowledgable trainers, steam room, dry saunas, indoor/outdoor pools & hot tubs, racquetball court, tennis courts, a huge schedule of classes including yoga, Zumba, BodyPump, spinning and more. They even have tanning and massage services for additional fees. Their workout room is well-equipped with a thorough line of machines and a generous collection of benches and free weights. They easily became my choice for my home gym.

This is a good gym with pleasant staff. After the initial free training session I’ve gotten into pretty good shape after just a few months of weight training. The club also has tennis, raquetball, a pool, sauna and many classes. In the process of looking for a gym I called all clubs in the area–this was the only one that so many amenities and polite staff.

Spent a month in Taos.

We really enjoyed our membership at Taos Spa! The staff was welcoming, the prices were fair, the facilities are well maintained. I enjoyed the yoga classes, the machines, whirlpools and saunas, indoor and outdoor pools and the friendly trainers. They have it all!

Could be even better

This is the best gym in Taos. The facilities are well equipped and the classes and trainers are top notch. Lots of wonderful people belong to this gym and it’s a great place to make friends and work out. However, the maintenance of the facilities is slow. The ladies’ sauna was broken for several weeks recently. I understand that they were waiting for a part but parts can be shipped overnight. I’ve also noticed peeling paint, a bathtub ring around the outside hot tub, broken latches on the bathroom stalls, light bulbs out for weeks, etc. It could really shine if it were better maintained.

Ahh massage

If you want a wonderful massage, go here and ask for Hanna, she was very knowledgeable and gives a great massage. Only thing to remember is that this is a fitness center so it will be a little noisy.

THE place in Taos for tennis!

Wonderful courts, lessons, clinics and a view of Taos Mountain! Very reasonable rates. Talented and respected tennis pros. Annual tennis tournaments. If you’re a tennis afficionado, this is the place to go!

Best Health Club in Taos

I workout on a regular basis and am always interested in trying new places when traveling. This club features a full class schedule, top of the line strength equipment, free weights, functional training toys, tennis, racquetball courts, indoor and outdoor pools, hot tubs, steam, sauna and massage. The setting is beautiful with grand views of Taos Mountain. Plan a visit!
